Pvc Boat Blind
Inexpensive do-it-yourself duck boat fold down scissors blind for under $50. using 3/4 inch grey electrical conduit pvc tubing & swivel bimini deck mounts.. I made a frame from pvc for my 12' duck boat. i used 1" pvc pipe for the up-right posts as well as for the top lateral support post. then i welded two small c-clamps to 3/4" metal pipes. i use the clamps on the sides of the boats and the 1" pvc up rights slide right over the metal pipes. when i'm done, just pull the blind off and unclamp it and go.. I built one for a buddy's boat 5 years ago, but i don't have any plans for it. i can post a picture or two if you would like. i would, however, highly recommend that you do not build a boat blind out of pvc though.. Any comments,suggestions,do's,and don't do's? trim coil for cover and going to attach square chicken wire for brush,and then we gonna paint it with parkers boat paint or might just rattle can it with krylon camo paint......
