What's up guys! this is a video about how i covered my 2000 chaparral 245ssi for the winter. i used 1'25" pvc to build a frame to hold the cover up and help to deal with the elements.. How to build a winter boat cover that will handle a new england winter - not pvc part 1 of 2.. A winter cover is supposed to protect the boat. to do the job, it should keep water, snow and ice out, yet not encourage excess condensation, which will lead to mildew. most importantly, the cover should last through the entire winter..
